Over the course of the decade of tying, the opportunity to tie all size and body shapes has provided a solid
education on what works and what does not work with the different types of bodies. From the beginning,
the eastern style of rope was the focus. I have attended intensives (20), rope conventions (6) as well as
numerous private lessons, that helped build the skill and style of rope you see in my photos of my ties.
Founder of Jax Rope Bite Chapter in late 2015. Partner of Savannah Rope Bite which was there to
provide entry level instruction and a safe entry point for rope in the Jacksonville and Savannah
community.
Owner of Kinbaku Cardinale, founded in 2020. a semenawa focused Japanese Rope Bondage studio that
presents a series of workshops, weekend retreats, and an annual Festival for exploring the beauty of
Kinbaku for connective rope experience.
Kinbaku Cardinale Dojo operates in multiple venues providing face to face instruction, and guidance in
the Japanese Art of Rope – Kinbaku
Marc/Gentleebrutal
Marc/Gentleebrutal was introduced into the world of kink in 2012. Rope was my entry point into this world and since then my passion continues to keep growing. I love the intimacy, connection, and trust one can build within rope and a person. The energy and creativity I receive from these moments are an endless journey of growth and discovery. I am lucky enough to have had great mentors that have taught me the beauty of Kinbaku.
Atreyu
Atreyu (He/They) have been an active member of the Southeast Michigan kink community since 2010 and is a co-founder of the Michigan Happy Knots rope group, and the rebooted Shibari Night In Detroit events. They are also the Vice President of The Arcadia Collective, the non-profit that operates The Mothership venue.
They have presented classes on rope around the Midwest; Arizona, and in Canada. They have performed twice for Morpheus's Bondage Extravaganza in Toronto and have also performed at Dirty Show Detroit as well as Theatre Bizarre. Atreyu practices and advocates informed enthusiastic consent and RACK principles.
Treaonna
Treaonna is a passionate and experienced educator with over 25 years of experience who provides lectures and workshops on a variety of topics, including kink skills (rope bondage, fireplay, cigar service/play, etc.), kimono and lolita fashion, communication tools, conflict transformation, hula hoop fitness/dance, moving meditation, energy work, and connective practices in the leather, kink, poly, geek, occult, flow arts, and other adventurous communities.
She/Ae holds the 2017 and 2018 title for Miss Ohio Leather, is a member of the 2018 class for International Person of Leather, and is a member of the Titans of the Midwest. Her/aer kimono passion started with a love of lolita fashion (specifically wa-lolita), which led to other fusion (wafuku x yofuku) styles, finally transitioning to wearing kimono more traditionally. In May 2020, she/ae began an apprenticeship with a certified kimono instructor and stylist in Japan and lives the #kimonolife by wearing kimono in some way nearly every day. She/Ae owns a kimono sales and service business, Kimono Kitsune.
Traeonna is a HoH ND queer-crip endorphin enthusiast who can be found hitting people with dinosaurs, amusing her/aer Bear with her/aer antics, and is fueled by dark chocolate, coffee, and Sir Winston snuggles. Spike
Biography: A BDSM player for nearly 30 years, Spike doesn’t play with one aspect of BDSM, he enjoys playing with all of them. A rope artist, a Daddy a whip aficionado, a sub, and a pony; he enjoys being all of them. Spike’s wry sense of humor and timing ensures a lively conversation at any event. He resides in Madison, Wisconsin with his Mistress: Mistress__Mayhem. Spike has presented at Shibaricon, Beyond Leather, Ropecraft and Madtown Kinkfest,. When he’s not playing with rope, Spike enjoys cracking whips, being a DJ and spinning fire.

Your presenters are life partners, rope tops, and rope bottoms. They love rope from every angle. BondageNexus has been playing with rope in a sexual way for 48 years. He's made every mistake in the book; some more than once. RopeSiren has performed super high suspensions at Trauma and loves to model in rope. Siren seeks out rope education whenever her schedule allows, and has developed a strong interest lately in combining rope with aerial arts.
Knot_Head
knot_head: The contrarian simpleton of synthetics. Although he began with Japanese style rope, he quickly gravitated to the simple, strict, positional Western style bondage of riggers like Matt Williams, Jay Edwards, Lew Rubens and Claire Adams. For him it IS about “what happens once she’s tied”, spanking tickling... SEX! Creating challenging predicaments is his favorite.
In the past few years he caught the photography bug and loves showing kinksters how easy it can be to get quality shots of everything from play to performance with whatever gear they have, in almost any setting.
Barkas & Addie
Barkas and Addie are Vancouver-based rope educators who teach and
perform world-wide. Their style is characterized by a focus on the process,
interaction, and emotion of a rope scene. Together they founded
TheSpace2, Vancouver’s first dedicated rope space. Barkas is a bondage
artist and writer. They have developed the “Interview Metaphor” as a way
of understanding rope bondage and placing focus on the person in ropes,
“Ranboo” which is a highly dynamic and stormy way of doing and thinking
Kinbaku, as well as the “City of Kinbaku”, a poetics of Kinbaku. Addie is a
switch and self-suspension enthusiast. She organizes regular workshops
on dynamic self-suspension and versatile education both, for beginners
and technically advanced. When co- teaching she focuses on bottoming
information and discourse.
RopeFiendJ
J is a rope fiend and photo nerd from Louisville, KY, with a decades long passion for kink. Early on, he was mostly influenced by vintage American rope bondage, and eventually found Japanese rope bondage later in life. J’s rope style is a fusion, derived from eastern and western influences, both sensual and sadistic, focused on connection between partners and bonding through rope play.
With his partner Prismaticmel by his side, he has studied both western and eastern rope bondage, attended classes and conferences, hosted events, and networked with rope fiends near and far. He founded and ran Knot Right Supply for five years, supplying ministers from around the globe with fine rope bondage products.
On a fate-filled day years ago, J met his weirdo brother from another mother, knot_head. J’s passion for photography was reignited, eventually founding Bawdy Photography, where he continues to explore the beauty of the human body, particularly in the context of the erotic or kinky.
knot_head and J have teamed up to provide high quality photography education to kinksters of all experience levels. You can find this pair of oddballs managing photo rooms at events, teaching 1-2 day photography intensives, as well as a variety of classes, all of them technology-enabled to rapidly educate photographers and get them shooting what is in their mind’s eye.
Bodacious_Minx
